I am looking at getting 11 trusses hauled. Found somebody that can do it, but we don't know what is a fair price to have them hauled. What is the going rate for loaded mile?

Been in the trucking business for going on 35 years now. Per mile rate would dependent on the length of the haul and possibility of a paid return trip. Short trips (less than 75 miles) will probably be quoted on a per hour, not per mile basis. You dont say what size truck will be needed, but that will come into play as well.

Well it will depend on the width of the load weight length of haul and time it takes to load and unload.I get $2.00 mile for legal width and up from there for OD then for partials it depends on how much of the trailer you fill. Tarping will also effect price but not in your case.

My daily rate for a pickup and a gooseneck hauling hay is 240.00 for 4 hours and 50.00 for each additional hour. If the trusses arent over wide I'd do it for that.
