Was scanning the TV channels just now. Fellow was holding a rattle snake. He says "if you get bit, the snake is telling you that you are too close" I shut off the TV.

check out the Sweetwater Texas rattlesnake roundup. last time I was there they had kids walking around in the pits with the snakes. I'm talking snakes crawling across the kids feet, and the kids would push the snakes out of their way with their feet. The guys putting on the show said the snakes wouldn't bite you after they got use to your being near them. No way in hell will I ever believe that, but I did see several kids walk through them and none got bit.
