Nice..... ! Looks identical to the one on my caterpillar D7 starting engine, 'cept it's only 2 cylinders, hopefully you have got the timing figured out and use solid conductor wires, ought to fire right up, had one of those rebuilt about 8 years ago, nice gesture on the person who sent to you, best of luck getting er fired up !
 
Reality is sometimes wonderful. It can rebuild and mature your interface with the careing 90% of humanity. JimN

I ain't sure it's rebuilt. That looks like a brand new mag to me.

Do you know how to put it on now? No. You need help. I hope somebody close can show you.
