Power Steering Line getting Hot on JD 830

I just recently overhauled my john deere 830 and got it put all back together and when i started it the power steering line would get hot to the touch but when i pulled the tractor in before i began the overhaul the ps was working fine any ideas?

Check the starter. I know this sounds crazy but I had a Cummins m-11 engine in a Ford truck that did the same thing. Somehow the starter was grounding through the power steering hose, pressure hose, which has steel reinforcement built in. I changed the starter and all was ok.

Its a two cylinder 830 and yes i flushed the ps and put new john deere ps oil that it called for and it didnt have a starter on it i just pulled started it. I took the line off during the overhaul do you think that maybe it is just air locked?

Does it sound like steering going over relief? Was any part of steering valve changed might need to have adjustment.

No i never messed with the power steering at all and when i took the line off i plugged the line so nothing could get in. Do you think that the line is just air locked because i took it off then put it back on is that a possibility for the line getting hot.
