Gehl 4625 SkidSteer

My grandpa just bought a 1995 Gehl 4625 skid steer....

Been digging for diagrams with no luck yet...anyone have an operators manual or service manual?

The hydraulic light stays lit, and the hydraulic tank is warm. Does anyone know what temperature the oil is supposed to be? And what where we should search for any problems?

Remove the wire from sending unit and ground it if light goes out replace sending unit. Not sure where sender is look on filter housing or tank.

I have the same machine in the SX version. You may have a bad sender. My water heat light comes on early, but it also has a working mechanical guage, so I ignore the other. Always ok when I check it by hand. Hyd lit may come on with working it hard- but it goes off with a little cooling time. You should get the books you need for it- you"ll need them when hyd solenoids go out or it doesn"t start. Several functions are controlled by them. I"ve had mine for over ten years, and would gladly buy another.
