How much calcium chloride/water for tires?

I want to put fluid in the tires of my Farmall M. What is the mix of calcium chloride and water that is the best. I have 13.6 x 38 tires in it and under stand that 57 gallons per tire is the right amount.

Thanks,
Bob

here is a link to the mixing and loading chart. you can mix 2, 3-1/2, or 5 lb mix. i use the 5lb mix, if yer gonna load em, load em fat!!!

AT a rate of 6 lb.cal per gallon of water you will have 38 gallon of water and 228 lb. of cal.will give you 608 lb.per tire filled to the valve stem.

3 1/2 lb CaCl2 with one gallon water is slush free down to -12 and frezzes at -52. It says on the chart 49 gallons and weighs 581 pounds. Straight water is 57 gal. 2lb CaCl2 and 1 gallon water is slush free to 13, frezzes at -23, and it says 52 gallons of water and 538 lbs. CaCl2 is safe as long as you never have tube problems. Get it fixed asap and keep the rim clean. Don't give it much of a chance to rust. It will rust in a hurry though if your not on top of things.

I have repaired hundreds of tires filled with CaCl. I always rinse off the rim and tire and been back into the same one several years later and there is no more rust than if the tire had been dry. Just like anything else. if you are too lazy or ignorant to do maintenance then you are going to have big problems but take care of things and you will be fine. Of course I also sell thousands of gallons of Rimguard (beet juice) every year for those who have been scared off from CaCl and I make a pretty good profit of it. Guess I should thank those who don't take care of things.

Your line of thinking would get you fired and or sued from employment in the aviation, nuclear, petro chemical industries etc.
When you have the choice, the proper procedure is to eliminate or substitute a source of problems. For a method to perform the same task with less or no risk.
Calcium Chloride = corrosion. Windshield washer fluid or rimguard doesn't.
Tire shops would go broke if it wasn't for seeping/rusted of valve stems and replacing ruined rims due to calcium chloride.
Calcium Chloride, the tire man's best friend.
