hi, i am thinking about getting one of these for in between the rows and was told by a guy who's the dealer that to stay away and go with a still. Im looking for something heavier than say a 25 cc mantis tiller but not as heavey as 5 HP troy built.

Does any one have one of these and can you comment on it.

thanks

My weed whacker gave out last summer, and being a Stihl man, went to see what they had. I ended up with their rig that has a "power head" and about half the mast, and then you get different attachments with the other half of the mast. I got the weedeater and a tiller. Very impressed with both- the tiller does a great job weeding between the rows (gentle weeding if you let it pull you along, rips everything to he11 if you pull it backwards). Plenty of power. Weedeater attachment also works great. Very easy to change attachments. Highly recommended.

Must say I don't know anything about the DR. Neighbor has a Mantis, and she wants to come and steal my Stihl in the night. Told her I'd sick the goat on her, and so far, we're at a Mexican standoff. I probably wouldn't bother with these discussions if she wasn't so cute. Not being sexist here, just recognizing the power of biology.
