Changing from finish mower to disc?

I need to know how to change from a finish mower on my tractor to a disc for a disking a garden spot? Would like some pictures not very mechanically inclined.

Probably help if we knew what kind of tractor, mower and disc you're talking about. Generally speaking, I'd remove the one and hook up the other.

Assuming your finish mower is mounted on the 3 point hitch. Clean debris from mower first. Grease so it will be ready to go next time. Back tractor with mower to storage place, on level ground, preferrably under shelter. Remove pin holding top link to mower. You may have to adjust to get tension off. Remove pins holding mower to bottom 2 lift arms. Slide lift arms off the mower. Remove pto shaft from tractor, leaving it on mower. Drive tractor to harrow, assumiong it is a 3 point hitch harrow, back into place lining up 2 lift arms with attaching pins on harrow. It usually takes me a few times to get everything lined up. Attach lift arms to harrow. Attach top link to harrow. Pick up harrow, go plow. You may need to level the harrow by adjusting top link in or out. Sorry, no pictures. I assume you understand about not plowing when the soil is too wet. If your harrow is not 3ph type, procedure is different.

Was the finish mower on the tractor when you bought it? If you really have to ask that question, I believe I would call up the place you got the tractor and let them do it for you. Sounds like you could get hurt if you do it yourself.
