there was a thread about this not too long ago. a couple of the suv's hold a machine gun that comes up through the roof with a guy sitting on a seat behind it ready to fire. looks like it's straight out of james bond.jim

There was a show on history or discovery channel a few weeks ago that showed the place that builds those SUV"s.

The machine gun pops out the roof and can sure lay out the rounds. The gun was firing so fast the roof and hood was full of casings. The gun can lay out rounds faster than the casings can fall off the SUV onto the ground.

Somebody tell us how is a guy with a machine gun that fires all these rounds gonna get one lone sniper without hitting everbody in the same state? Sound like poor planning to me.

I used to cover presidential politics for an international news outlet. I've seen this things before, and also the SUVs full of automatic weapons that follow the president around...impressive stuff.

There was a special on Nat. Geo. about Air force one (very impressive)but when9-11 happened it showed how vulnerable it realy was and the pilot said "The terrorists had us beat" Prez. Bush could not give any commands from the air they knew his every move.So AF 1 electronics had to be totaly redesigned....there are 2 AF 1s
