better drawbar photo

whats a farmstead? so it hitched up horse drawn wagons? or is it worth using on modern stuff? a neighbor who collects this stuff wants to buy. any thoughts on value? or, is it usefull? thanx for your thoughts, jeff.

I can't tell anything from that picture, but I could have sworn the first one was an aerial photograph of a farm with a bit of the airplane wing in the picture.
 
sometimes you will see the house and buildings of a farm that are sort of like the "operations base" referred to as a farmstead in a lot of literature.
 
Yea, that first photo looked like a pic of some farm buildings (a farmstead) down on the ground, with a piece of the airplane as that black bar thing.

This picture I just see a black bar thing, looks like a pic of pipe with flatstock on it or something, can't figure out what we are supposed to be identifying.

Sorry, just can't make anything out of it?

horse tongue? horse tongue is like a regular tractor tongue,or 'drawbar',but the horse tongue us nine feet long and has a ring on the end.
