I downloaded Google Earth 5.0 and I've been playing with that the past few days. Its a free download from Google, and I just had fun touring Miami Florida with it.

Now, I want to go see Miami in person! There is pictures in the little blue squares that people have put on it and the views are absolutely gorgeous!

You can tour anywhere in the world with it and its wonderful! And you can change the view, which is something that Google Earth online wasn't capable of. Just thought I would let you guys know about it.

oh-ya, I can see my gardens and the 5th wheel camper in the yard. I saw a way to plot area on it once but can't find it now :(

Did you guys try the flight simulator ? Two planes you can use.Havent figured it all out an seems like mouse or stick works opisite what it should do. Only used it tonight though.

I did download Google Earth, but I could not get to any U.S Land, is it easy or am I missing something,
I put an address and town with zip code in, but it would not recognize it.
Also, do I have to down load it every time I want to look at it, I didn't see any notice to click on after I went away
thanks for your help

I've only tried viewing U.S and Mexico. It works good for me. When you start out you just double click over the area of interest, and then keep double clicking to continue zooming in. Then with the buttons on the top right of the screen, you can angle the view the way you want it. There is also a 3D feature for the buildings in big cities that can be turned on by checking the box in the left hand side of the screen. The street view option is also there which will turn on all kinds of little camera icons.

You only need to download it once and then its all installed on your computer. The download I got also came with the Google Chrome web browser, which is a web browser that actually seems faster than Internet Explorer or Firefox. Icons for each of them were automatically added to my desktop. The Google Earth icon looks like a blue and white marble and the google Chrome icon looks like a red, green, and yellow beach ball. Both of them also say what they are in text as well.

I had to reboot my computer after downloading it before Google Earth 5.0 would work.

I've put in addresses and it works fine.

Upon rereading, I put in the street address, the town, and typed out the state to get it to where I wanted.
