Lumax preemerge herbicide opinions/advice

That's what i am planning on using this spring. Had a friend that used it and was totally satisfied, so I am gonna try it. he sprayed his post planting. Not sure what I will do yet as 1/2 of my corn acres will have cow manure applied on top of 6-7" tall volunteer rye that will have to be tilled in. The other 1/2 of acres is soybean stubble, which I was planning on spreading my breeder manure and discing( or field cultivating, before planting. The rye ground may need more tillage than one pass to kill the rye. Any recommendations?
 
Lumax has workeed good for me. This year I will be using Lexar(more atrizine, less Dual same amount of Callisto). Only down side of Lumax is it is expensive. What kind of prices are you getting. I was told about $45, wound up getting the Lexar for $33.
