JD 70 Sediment Bowl

Finally warmed up enough to get out into the shop. The 70 is about ready to see if it runs. Wanted to put a screen in the sediment bowl intake, had trouble in the past with gunk plugging the inlet. Got the tank pretty well cleaned out finally, and now it shouldn't be a problem again. I drilled out the inlet so the screen would fit in. The place I work at is shut down Friday and Monday so maybe I'll get to drive it around this weekend. Chris

Could you put a longer screen on so it would't pick up the gunk at the bottom of the tank ??Only problem is it runs out of fuel with some gas left in the tank just a thought I 've done that when a tank has been kinda ugly inside...
