Snow

What is the big deal about a little snow here in central North Carolina? Tonight it is snowing for the third time this year and the media acts like it's the first time in a hundred years, and they say and do more or less the same thing: some idiot standing on the side of the road telling us it's snowing and usually another idiot at a highway shop telling us they are going to salt the roads. What little snow accumilates will be gone within 25 hours, so who gives a rat's furry a$$, I sure don't.

It's the media. There are very few good ones these days. I live in MN. Winters for the last 15 years have been pretty easy for the most part. Whenever there is a prediction of a few inches of snow, the darn media acts like were gonna get the blizzard of the century. They sensationalize everything these days. Look at Jessica Simpson, finally a celebrity female that isn't a stick person, she's always looked good, she gained a little bit of weight, and the media makes it the top story for a few days. There isn't one media dude that was making fun of her few pounds of extra cushion, that would do her in a heart beat if they had a chance. Really makes you wonder what they are taught in journalism courses.

most of those media people out in the weather have iq's that matches the amount of pubic hair they have, 1 or 2. saw one child media girl on tv stoop down after some heavy rain, pat the payment and say "this water is wet". also burns me up when the tv weatherman gives us the current temperature and then tells me how to dress.
