hi have you seen the show called overhauling where they restore some ones car RFD TV should have a show like that but with tractors after all tractors have a place in a lot of peoples hearts just think how happy your dad or his dad or his dad would be if they seen ther first tractor all shinny

Thank god you mentioned Overhaulin'...Chip Foose can have his way with my Tractor (Or my cars, for that matter) any day of the week. Had you mentioned MTV's "Pimp my Ride", I probably would have cried. As interesting as it would be to see Xzibit attempt to pimp a Super-H, I think red-lovers the world over would die a little inside. I wonder where you could find spinners for a 38" rim though? :twisted:

I talked with RFD one time about shows and they charge $150,000 for a half hour show . Takes alot of sponsers with deep pockets to put that kind of money up . It cost alot to make the show not counting the air time . I know a guy that had a hunting show and there are some tricks for lowering the cost of the air time but it`s still very expensive . You can get alot of free stuff out of sponsers to use on the shows but they dont like putting up the big money .

I am working with the producer of one of the show on RFD-TV for a program on dairying. It all goes back three or four years when I complained and came to a head when they e-mailed me. They have committed to a dairy show this year. I had there prices but gave them all away at a meeting last week. If my memory serves me right your quote is a little high. But it is still expensive for one individual to sponsor. The answer is all of the little ad clips they have. It is still a well watched net work and does get your mind off of all of the commentators mouthing off.

Used to like (and support) RFD TV but now it seems likes it's just a bunch of reruns! They do need some new material and not just horses! Tractors, vintage farm life and the like would be welcomed in our house.
