MMMM...backstrap. We ate some last night from the buck I killed with a bow in Illinois in October. Best I've ever eaten. That corn and soybeans makes 'em so tender. The deer here in Florida survive on acorns and forbs, occasionally corn, so it's a little tougher. I bet with the economy the way it is, there will be alot more hunters looking for meat, instead of antlers this fall.

That's something that'll get you a pretty hefty fine here in Michigan. They found a deer with CWD just west of us last fall and banned feeding and baiting. Wish they'd have done that and stuck with it when the whole TB mess started here in the deer herd.
