JD 322 Garden Tractor Rear Fender/Deck

Been told by a couple of people that they thought a 318 Fender could be modified to fit a 322. They weren't 100% positive so before I cut up a good 318 deck, can anyone confirm this?

I always thought they were interchangeable, but I just looked up the part numbers and they are different. The 322 is M88907 the 318 is M84504.

Thanks for the reply Steve. They look very close and I believe if I cut the opening to fir the radiator, it might fit. Having a hard time finding sheetmetal for a 322.
