I checked tire town website for some 11.2x38 tires for my JD B. They listed used tires for $155. New ones for $195. When I called to inquire, they said they could only get new ones in that size at almost $300 each. Have any of yall dealt with Tire Town lately? If so, what is the deal over there?

I know tires are high right now. But the advertise $155 to $195 on thier website, but then double the price when you call. Thats what I am wondering about. I can get the tires new local for about $245 each. But I don't want to spend that much for tires that will be worked very little. The tractor will be mostly a show piece.

Tires have took a pretty good jump in price. I got a pair of 9.5x24 tires and tubes delivered in August for 274.oo now the same ones are 400 freight went up also. I got some tires 4.00x15 and tubes blems from Tire Town some time ago for around 50 but i suppose they are higher now.

Just My Choice, But if that was all the Difference in the price I would buy Locally, Forget the SH handling thing, Besides Your Localle needs the Business, As well as Mine does,in these troubled Times, I always try to give the Local Guys My Business when possible, Just a thought, have a Goodn'larry KF4LKU
