We have lost the rfdtv channel and have been informed that they (rfd)have lost their satalite. So where did it go,run away from home.Seriously has everyone lost it?and what will it take for rfd to get lined with another satalite? We miss the country music.....I know this is a technical question but maby someome out there would have a answer.

Hey Ken direct Tv still has it for me it moved to ch. 345 Im watching it now Ronnie Milsap is singing....one of the best..

We get our tv over cable ,same as phone and internet from a local company Caprock_Spur.Icalled and the lady said rfd had lost it.s satalite.Mabey she meant the cable co had lost it,s satalite.Anybodys guess.

Last spring when I got cable, I was so excited about getting RFD....boy that channel plays nothing but horse stuff. What little tractor stuff there is on there....and its all re-runs:(

I got to thinking about that. 3 or 4 years ago,I got up one morning and turned on the TV. RFD was gone, completely. Off the guide and everything. I emailed Patrick Gotch. He said he was watching it right then. After an email or 2,we figured out that Direct TV had switched them from one satalite to another one without notifying them. It was back by early afternoon. We upgraded to a new system a year or so after that and the installer told me the new system got transmissions from both satalites. I wonder if when they switched channels a few weeks ago, maybe they changed satalites again somehow and your cable provider lost the signal that way? Just a thought.

A friend of mine is the new host of the show Cattlemen to Cattlemen on RFD-TV, if it is gone from the air he will have had one of the shortest hosting careers in history! :)

I used to watch it at my sons, and was so happy when I got it so I could watch all the tractor and RR stuff.

In less than a week I realized they were all reruns, and I was so disapointed with all the horse stuff and cattle auctions. What a rip is the way I seen it.

I can't help think that they were having money problems all along, and felt they would not maybe make the grade.

The cattle auctions I figured the auctioneer was mentaly chalanged, kicked in the mouth repedaly before the auction to keep the swelling in his mouth so you could not hear a word he said. The poorest crying of any auction I have ever heard.

At the end the tractor parades were videoed by a grade school kid still grabbing candy that was thrown out along the parade route.

It probably takes alot of big money to get better quality production, and advertizment backing.

Maybe the pony crowd may keep it going, and I wish them no harm, but perhaps just poor managment.
