Kubota 900 shifting

I have extreme difficilty shifting my Kubota sometimes, especially when it is stopped off level. In order to avoid breaking someting in the transmission I will sometimes shut off the engine and then shift gears. Is there a solution to this problem? I just love this machine otherwise. Thank you very much for your input.

Those trannys are normally very smooth shifting. You should be able to clutch, shift, let go of the clutch. If anything different than that either see if your clutch needs adjusting or talk to your dealer.

All the early models had this problem. I have a 2006 model and it has a pull knob on the dash to elminate pressure to help with the problem. I don't know for sure but I think the release can be added to earlier models.
