New holland Boomer 8N retro

That's kind of cool looking.

I guess I would have to see one in person though. Why and 8 and not a 9?

K

I'd guess that the "8" allows them to use the red with the light gray giving a more asthetically pleasing look than just "machinery gray."

Is that actually going to be made? Or is it just an artist drawing of a modern 8N?
Gas or diesel engine?
Pretty cool looking.

That side by side photo shows exactly what I think is wrong with the new tractors. They are too high seating and narrow which makes them more tippy.

one thing I have noticed about a lot of the newer small tractors is lack of ground clearance and they look like there is not a whole lot of choices for wheel spacing.

As opposed to a Farmall M or a John Deere A? C"mon ya just said that to hear your self talk didn"t ya?

What's the mystery? It's a Case New Holland Boomer, mad by which ever Japanese maker supplies them with their under 80 HP tractors (I forget which at the moment, maybe Shibaru?) It's no different than any of their blue or red boomers except it is painted differently with a newer grille. Certainly no Kubota from a build/performance standpoint, but it looks way cooler!

Most have 4 positions to move the rears around just like the old N's did, and I seriously bet that if you measure the clearance under the fron axle of that boomer, it's the same or more than an N!

Well you just listed ROW CROP models !!!! These NEW tractors are being touted as "utilty" models but they have a profile more like a row crop at least in height but are too narrow.

I think it looks pretty cool. I wouldn't pay extra to buy one though.

I have a little boomer for a lawn mower with a 3pt mower and love the little thing. Works great on a 3pt blade and starts good in the cold to run the auger in the winter. Wish the tires/spacing were setup better to run a cultivator for garden crops.

Probably made in Japan by Shibura like the other Boomers. Not that is all bad as I think all small tractors are made there . JD = Yanmar Catapillar= Iseki, NH =Shibura Etc.
