Dearest in the lord

From Sister(Mrs).Dominica Oware
Abidjan Ivory Coast West Africa

I am Mrs.Dominica A. Oware, from Sierra Leone . I am married to late Mr.Godson Obere Oware , who worked with Sierra Leone Embassy in Ivory Coast for Sixteen years before he died in the year 2005,after a brief illness that lasted for only five days. We were married for Eighteen years with a duaghter (Stella) who later died in a motor accident.
Before the untimely death of my husband,we were both born again Christians(from nnalert to Christianity). And since after his death I decided not to remarry or get a child outside my matrimonial home because of the love I have for him .

When my late husband was alive he deposited the sum of (US$1.2M ) One Million,Two hundred Thousand United States Dollars) in a General Trust Account with a prime bank here in Abidjan, Ivory Coast .

Following my ill health, being a victim to cancer , I have decided to donate this fund to a Christain organizations (Church) that will utilize this fund the way I am going to instruct herein, according to the desire of my late husband. I want this fund to be used in Christian Activities like,Orphanages, Christain schools, and Churches for propagating the word of god and to endeavour that the house of the lord is maintained.

I took this decision because I don't have any child that will inherit this money and my husband relatives are not Christians and do not know about this deposit . I am not afraid of death since I know where I am going. Exodus 14 VS 14 says that "the lord will fight my case and I shall hold my peace".

I don't need any telephone communication in this regard because of my health situation as well the presence of my late husband's relatives around me . I don't want them to know about this development/wish of my late husband hence I want it to be fulfilled . As soon as I receive your reply, I shall give you the contact of the bank here in Abidjan and would introduce you officially to them.

My happiness is that I lived a life of a worthy Christian. Whoever that Wants to serve the Lord must serve him in spirit and truth. Please always be prayerful all through your life as well commit me into your daily prayers. Contact me on this email ([email protected] ) as soon as possible since any delay in your reply will give me room to source another Church/christian for this same purpose. Please assure me that you will act accordingly as I stated herein. Hoping to receive your reply immediately .
Remain blessed in the Lord.
Yours in the lord
Sister Dominica A. Oware.

That is a refreshing set of pictures. Can smell the hay from here and feel the warmth!

Gee, I feel so sorry, I get right on it, but first you need to send $100 so I can open a bank account to cash that check.

Stop torturing us! I'd rather be doing that too,but right now there is a huge drift in front of the shed and I don't think I can get the haybine out!

Hey I read this one before. Must be alot of different people who are in exactly the same situation.

We give money to established church groups to help in these countries.

Now quit hijacking my thread.

We wouldn't appreciate the spring if we didn't have winter! With out winter that hay field would be full of far ants and armadillos!

Nice job on that load!! My brother used to pack them so tight I had a heck of a time getting them loose at the barn! AAAAAAHHHHH SUMMER TIME!!

Yes, but could'nt he given a little more summer & a little less winter at least as far north as Ohio??

Wonderful pics. James and I are with you all the way - ready for spring and hay season.

Winter here has been a roller coaster 70+ one day and 40 the next with 25 mph n winds.

We took soil samples from the hayfield on Tuesday. I saw lots of bermuda stalks that were green and some even had a few leaves on them. This roller coaster weather has the vegetation confused.

Kelly, fun to see where you are now and the progress you have made with equipment since you bought that first H.

Hi Nancy. Haven't seen you or James post in a while. Thought we lost ya. Welcome back to the both of you.

We are so sorry to hear about the passing of your child and old man. With all that money, what kinda tractors did he have? Any man with that much money must have left you a whole shed full.

I don't know. I'm sick of winter too,but it seems like I spend all summer wishing THAT job was DONE.

I have to pack a good rack. My hay field is 30 mi north of the barn. I pull 2 racks at a time home. Building a shed on my land is moving up the priority scale.

Funny how that red bug just bites. I do need to stay away from the auctions :)
The 966 kind of put the wife in a tizzy.

Oh oh our inner adolesent is coming out. Sorry Nancy.

I knew there would be hay pictures in this thread. :) Looks nice.

Think the welfare reply was aimed at the free money from Africa scam below???

This thread sure took a lot of odd turns, but like the pics.

I like Nancy's comment about winter getting old for her, but she was taking soil samles. Yikes! It ain't cold if you can drill soil samples!!! :)

"This thread sure took a lot of odd turns"

It sure did.
We have had haying, Pole dancing and been to Africa all on the same thread.

This has been an odd winter. Unusually warm. Most weeks we have gotten up into the 70's only to do a big drop overnight into the 40's. Up, down, Up down, Up down.

The day we took soil samples it was in the 60's, didn't even need a jacket out in the hayfield.

I took a different position at work and now have a heavier work load and not as much slack time, so not much time to read and answer posts and sometimes a little wore out in the evenings.

I must admit today I just didn't want to crunch numbers. I'll pay for it on Monday when I have to catch up.

As always, I enjoy the posts, well, most of the posts.

Keep posting the pictures!

We were at a seminar on Tuesday. There are some things coming to help deal with fire ants.

There is a tiny fly that lays its eggs in the fire ant's head which of course kills the ant. The fly is a natural predator from the fire ants' original home of S. America. They have done lots of tests and have released the flies in many locations across the south US. Several locations have reported the flies have acclimated to their new home and are surviving and reproducing. The flies do not impact any other insects or species. Bad news for the fire ants. HOORAY!

They have also found that there seems to be a virus that has developed and is attacking some of the ant colonies. It was not introduced and the scientists aren't sure where it came from. Wisely, they are not trying to stimulate or spread the virus, just letting nature take its course on that one.

Thanks for asking.

We took about 3 weeks off during the holidays.

Just now getting caught up on my "rest" back on the job.

I bend over, grab one twine with left hand and another with the right. Wile bending slightly at the knees.
I straiten up my back and lift with my legs. That way I am not using my back to lift but my legs.
I rest the bale on my right thigh wile I walk to the hay rack.
Once at the rack. I rapidly lift the bale using my right leg transfering velocity onto the bale.
As the bale is airborn I guide it into the desired possition with my hands.
After 10 or so bales are on the rack in mount the rack and repeat the processes to stack. :)

Next year it will be thrower racks.
