hydraulics won't work

Regarding my old FE35 massey ferguson '57.I've got a small bucket on the front and the snow plow on the back and neither one will raise up.The action has been getting slower and slower for awhile until today when it quit altogether.I'm assuming it's the pump that needs replaced or rebuilt.I'm fairly adept at fixing things on it and have the service manual but wondering if it's a job beyond my capabilities.Can it be removed without tearing the tractor apart.Some friendly advice would be appreciated.TOM

I checked the dip stick at the rear of the tractor and it looked clean but I have noticed moisture in the fluid before.Should I drain the fluid to check further?

Pull the drain plug. If nothing comes out you found your problem. Put a Knipco on it and thaw it out.

Knipko is a brand name for a kerosine portable heater. Other brands are Reddy heater or Redline.

CHECK FOR A PICK UP SCREEN. COULD BE PLUGGED

You could have a plugged intake screen or filter even though the drain plug lets oil run out freely with clean looking oil.
