I cant for thr life of me loosen the hydraulic fitting from the stabilizer to the hydralic box.Its under the controls(hard to get to)and im using a clawfoot wrench and when i apply pressure the nut starts to round. the nut is a 1 1/4 inch nut.Almost all the hoses are old and need replacing.Am i doing something wrong or are they on there very tight? any help wpould be appreciated thanx clay

If you can do so with out burning the hoe down heat up the nut on the line. Apply the heat on the nut where it tapers down to the pipe, just a little heat usually works. Let it cool if you get it to budge, or hot oil can spray and burn you.

The flare and threads are corroded.
Most of the time you may have to remove one or more hoses to get to the one you want.
Take a air cut off wheel and cut the hose fitting. Use a deep socket to remove. The adapter fitting may back out of the valve body. Once off reinstall the fitting, then new hose.
Crow foot works but the proper tool looks more like a cut box end wrench type of crows foot.

Fun aient it Clay.I also used a crow foot but had to have somebody reach in there with a pry bar and hold pressure on the crow ft to keep it tight to the nut till it broke loose.I know what i'm trying to say,I just hope you can picture it

the hose is directly fastened to the valve body appears to have no adapter. Is it cheaper to hav the hoses made or does my local vallet tractor supply going to have premade ones?thanx all

They actually make a crows foot made especially for tubing or hydraulic hoses. Works very well Bernie Steffen

It's best to have hoses made up. They have a shelf life. I think the hoses can get brittle if they sit around for too long. Dave

If you have not already done so remove the hoe from the tractor and give yourself five feet or so between tractor and hoe. You will be able to get the hoses off with no problem with a cresent wrench. Like another poster said you might have to take off other hoses to get to the one you want. And make sure you reconnect the hose to itself that feeds the hoe before you drive the tractor away. I did not explain that right about the hose reconnect but you should be able to figure it out. A year ago I rebuilt all the cylinders and replaced a lot of hoses on my 580CK. My machine is a 1970's so it might be different than yours.

Agree w/TGP.

Unless you have a little better luck than I did.

I cut off the old hose and drive on a six point socket.

Extend the hoe with the outriggers down just enough to support the hoe only. watch the attachment pins for movement.
Use the hoe to balance the operator tower, again watch the pins for slack.
Pull pins move forward without streching the two main hoses.
Then shut off tractor unplug and hook together the hoses.
You may have to un hook hoses before you move.
By All Means,Always Stand CLEAR.

You Are Correct.
I never remove the hoe unless I have rear axle work to do.
Cut the hose off use a socket. You can also try heat, don't take much, but I don't like flames around oil/grease.
Also there should be a fitting with O-ring screwed into the valve body changing over to jic flare. If you say you don't then someone has probably cobbeld the hose on.
