Hello,
I am restoring a Case RC tractor with the sunburst grill and am 2 thirds the way done. I still need to build the engine and need parts, It has a Waukesha F C 9 T Engine with 3.25 bore by 4 stroke,
Does anyone know where I can get a rebuild kit. I found one place that wanted $2500.00!!!!! I dont think so, Not for a tractor.

Any help is greatly apreciated!!
Chris

That is going to be tough. Waukesha is still in business, BUT not with small engines. 20 Years ago we found the last 3 pistons that were in the aftermarket and they were not all the same oversize. Gaskets are easy. Victor had so many calls for gaskets they had to retool to make them. Now Victor gaskets are available many places, but not at NAPA anymore. You help me. What are the key parts you need and in what sizes? I will also send you an e-mail. You can respond to that.

Chris -There is a company called Compass instruments. They sell parts for Waukeasha.
Thye currently sell 3.25 inch pistons and rings that are used in a single cylinder test engine.
I believe that they will work.

I would try the different people who sell parts for olivers. You can find them on the oliver site here or search the web for oliver. Oliver used waukasha engines.

But Oliver never used the FC engine. I just looked in my newer Clevite bearing book. No listing for them 4 years ago. You may need to have them repoured and recut, no big deal. J.

Your little FC was one of Wauks "workhorse" engines, used in everything from soup to nuts...and I assume the time will come when collectors and restorers have used all the NOS parts and more will have to be made, which may account for a $2500 ovh kit...
If nothing here works out, you could try:
oldihc.org: FC's and other Wauks were in some Int'l trucks up thru the mid-30's;
narcoa.org, a railcar site : FC's and other Wauks were used in Fairmont railcars up to possibly postwar.
mandmsurplus.com, Brooklyn, NY;
jobbersinc.com;
Obsolete Industrial Engines (Frank 916-655-3185);
egge.com Santa Fe Springs, CA;
georgemillermachine.com/gmachine.com (???);
Arrow Engines supports some Wauks; FC's weren't on their website list last time I looked, but they do have something that says to inquire about models not listed.
I need to organize my list; there're probably more. You might also check the "parts and services" section of aths.org for obsolete engine parts suppliers, as a lot of Wauks were used in trucks. Good luck

Forgot to mention I have a 1957 FC parts book and can advise part #'s it shows if you decide to try for individual parts (sorry, no dig cam/scanner).

Chris: got your email on jobbersinc; many thxx!
One point comes to mind: their website says "wholesale", and some of the language also implies they don't make retail sales.
While some posters have said they've purchased Wauk parts from them, as individuals, I wonder if they maybe quoted a high price because you were an individual and not a dealer?
