O/T Polaris Snowmoblies

Hey folks in know this is off topc but do any of you own a polaris 700 rmk? I have been looking for another sled besides the the old jds and kawasakis. Im just wanting to know the pros and cons. thanks for everything.

Back in its day I believe it was rated "Sled of the year" by several magazines.............any that I ever seen worked quite well and we're an even match for the Ski Doo 670 Summit...............compared to what you're used to, it'll be a Cadillac!

I have an Ultra 700 but that's not quite the same.

I have a 600RMK and it is a very good sled. And easy to work on . The new ones are a nightmare to work on according to the mechanic at the Polaris dealer. I have riden a summit and liked the ride and handling better than the RMK but we had touble upon trouble with the recoil starter for 2 years. Got stranded once in the Black Hills and had to wrap the emergency start rope around the clutch to start it . Had it fixed and a month later it was out again.

Depends on what kind of riding you want to do. Good mountain/deep powder sled, you will hate it on the trails... When new, they were the cream of the crop for mountain sleds.
