Engine Rebuild Kits from this Site

Hey All.

Since it looks like Im going to end up doing some engine work in the near future, I figured I would start trying to get a grip on the prices. I see that this site has a number of engine kits for sale for my Farmall BN, the majority of which are TISCO kits. I also see some that arent listed for who makes them...

I dont really need to do this any time soon, but I really want to make sure I buy a rebuild kit thats made in the USA if I can. Does anyone know where these kits are made? I would like to support the folks that keep this forum going, but I want to support the overall hobby and people manufacturing stuff here at home more.

If not here, does anyone know where a good USA made rebuild kit can be had from?

Why not just give them a call? I have not bought parts from them, but i have talked to the sale staff, they will help you i'm sure.

I bought a set of sleeves and pistons for my JD 70 thru here. No problems, fast service, good price. Chris
 
i've bought engine kits from this site, no problems, fast service. if you are getting your crankshaft cut, have the machine shop get the bearings.
 
Thanks for the replies all.

Ill have to give them a call and see what they have to say. Im not looking to order just yet since I do need to find out if the crank needs to be ground, and if I really just need to scrap my block or not. (Boy I hope not)

But I just wanted to get some info from other folks here to see what they thought.

When you get a kit you get seals, sleeves, pistons and rings. Sleeves are easy to change since they're wet sleeves. Block probably needs cleaning in that area anyway for the new seals.
Then you have an engine that will run a long time. Hal
 
i sell american made engine kits. one for your bn with the cylinder kits rod and main bearings complete gasket set with main seals for $400.
