O.T.- -35mm stereo slides

My only camera in the 1960's was a stereo style, which when the film was mounted as slides, had two images. Which required a viewer. Now I'm wanting them copied onto photo paper. Does anyone know where that can be done at a reasonable anywhere in the country?

Is it possible to use a scanner to make a copy, and then enlarge it? Or are there other ways of accomplishing this? Thanks for any help.

I practice sterio photo sometimes, I even have a steriopticon from 1901. (grandpas) A slide to digital system is in the range of 100$ and has high resolution. If the slides are single slides with 2 images each, and you want to just make photos, a image editing tool like Corel PhotoPaint, or others can be very easily used to separate them. Each takes time, to separate, but it is reasonable. If you want to print sterio, just make 1 of each and print them on the same Photo paper size to fit a old fashoned viewer. Either slide should be usable if only prints are needed, as they are from just a wee bit different angle. JimN

Hi Jim, Along the same lines kinda, I saw an outfit advertised that would take old negatives and burn them to a CD, using your pc of course. My son thought that the scan might be of poor quality. The gadget was in that $100 price range, ever tried one of them you could recommend?

Thanks, Gene

I have every thing to scan and print both photographs and slides to correct the exposure, lighten-darken, crop, print with ink-jet or laser. Got it all to print a book on my Ancestry.
Scanned and printed photo's of great grand father taken the day after he came home from the Civil War. Equipment was pricy. I am nearly eighty years old and have mastered it.
