What's it worth?

I have a '95 Dodge 2500 clubcab 4x4 with an 8' bed and a Cummins I want to sell before I take a trip to the big sandbox. It's got about 205K miles, new injectors, brake and transmission cooling lines. The body's a bit rough, has some rust and the paint is bad. Probably needs ball joints sometime but still drives ok. The cab interior is a bit worn, AC needs charged. It runs good when it's warmed up but is a tad bit cold blooded. It would make a good farm truck, but might be a candidate for restoration as it was in the first batch of that bodystyle. I'll be gone for over a year and the wife won't drive it. I'm gonna keep it until the chance of snow is gone, but I want to get rid of it fast because I won't have time to waste on it. What's a fair price for this truck?

With that many miles on it --- it an't worth much,,, I'd say one thousand bucks would be fair -- unless your selling it to some one who wants to make payments,, and then --- your going to lose out, cause they will say it's not worth what they bought it for ... and then it's Judge Judy time ....

Sat I purchased a 95 chev 1/2 ton, crew cab 4 x 4 spider gear out, not any rust, dents, extra set of rims (mounted tire) (all 8 are decent)160,000, 350 no known problems. It was offered to my son for $200.00, he offered to purchase it for $400.00 and was offered $600.00 within a half hr. I told him I would go $601.00, and got it. Haven't seen it yet, but two of my sons said the interior is perfect, and spotless.

This was a private sale, no dealers involved in any way.

With rough paint and interior somewhere around $3,000.

If it was super nice, $6,000.

I play with trucks and the market died this last year when fuel prices took off and diesel was $1 higher than gas.
