Oil was down today by 12.3 %. Don"t suppose the price will go down tomorrow at the pump 12.3%????? He-- no it won"t!!!! I"d like to get my hands on the jerks that raise it 20 cents when a thundercloud appears in the gulf or a tanker truck flips over but when oil goes down they take their sweet time lowering it a cent or 2 aday. I wish there was someway us common folks could do something about this gouching that takes place in the world. Got any ideas? That didn"t help???!!!@@ still mad about it.

to you head or anyone elses and forces them to buy gas and diesel.... you like most others do so because you rather drive than walk or ride a bike.

tho oil company can price gas as they see fit.... its THEIR gas. no one is FORCED to buy it.
stop wining

I bought farm diesel yesterday for $1.85/gal and gas was $1.39/gal recently and you are complaining

I'll bet you believe that fertilizer and diesel prices should fall but the selling price of corn should stay up.

While that would be great for all of us, you are saying that when gas companies input prices go down their product (gas) should also immediately drop in price.

You want your profit margins to explode but don't think it is fair if the gas company operates at a profit, buy their stock, i did, it takes the sting out of filling up the tank.

I kindof think that we are lucky that gas/diesel isn't the same price always no matter what the price of oil does, some real high price, people would still have to buy it. The only thing that keeps it as low as it is is competition between oil companies, if energy gets external_linkized (socialized) then no more competition and the price will rise, bet on it.

I think that the price of Oil and gas is specultativly set, which means up and down.
I dont like a bunch of guys yelling back and forth at each other on an exchange to set the price of oil......But I dont want the governement setting it either.
I dont mind the price being low (below $2/gallon) Think of it, You can buy a gallon of milk for $2.25 and you can drive your car for 30 miles for $2. (not bad) Anything over $2.50 and I get 8issed off.
Hopefully oil continues to fall and the Arabs dont make as much off of us.
I would like to OPEC collapse.
(I can dream cant I)

Urea was $.35, down from around $.90 at it's high.

Think I would book some cause I think about 6 months into the most Honorable Messiahs' term it's gonna hit the fan.

Hope not, wish him well and hope he fixes everything, but I am not getting my hopes up.

where do you buy a gallon of milk for $2.25? I live in wisconsin (the dairy state)its closer to $4.00 a gallon

It's way beyond fix. It has to run it's course now. The only thing they can do is delay by printing money but either way it's going to get worse before it gets better.

Yesterday, the lying, abundant, sewage of the mainstream media were bleating that the price of oil was up because the supply was down, today, the same elitist wh0res were saying that the price went down because the supply was up. They make themselves out to be 'experts on everything', yet the overpaid airheads are 'knowlegeable about nothing'. Other than the mainstream media being nothing but knowing, willing, eager, and paid propaganda organs for the Communist Party, United States of Socialist AmeriKa, they serve absolutely NO useful purpose.

Why don't you walk for a week and then come tell us how that worked out for you.

It used to be $2.25 when I drank it a few years ago, I remember not long ago somebody said that it was $2/gallon at some stores, I live in Michigan.

I like low gas and Diesel fuel prices as well as does anyone. Oil at $150 per barrel makes the idea of drilling in difficult places more attractive. Oil at $40 per barrel makes the drillers think about investing their money somewhere else. I suspect that gasoline prices below $2.00 per gallon will be very temporary and may never get that low again. But I like low prices.

If you want stable energy pricing and peace of mind, do what business does. Buy a futures contract. When the price goes up, so does your commodity account. In a rising market, convert your paper profits into cash and buy fuel at your favorite pump.

I have been buying heating oil for the past two years from home owners who have switched to natural gas. Yesterday, I paid $0.50 per gallon for 300 gallons. Sometimes I get it for free. I am buying low and don't care about the general market. I get my leads from Craigslist.

I currently have around 5000 gallons and I can afford to be selective about how much I am willing to pay. Generally no more than 33% of current market.

down under, the excuse for oil increase was the Israeli/Palestinian thing, it MAY have an effect, not profitable to wait until it does, if ever.
Back to Chinese demand next week or will it be Opec collusion, which the World Airlines found was illegal. $$'s millions, funny that.

Why don't you walk for a week and then come tell us how that worked out for you. Same as I said to the other bozo

The US has been hiding oil numbers in there weekly oil report for the past 4wks or so. This is usually a sign that there trying too support that price level or reverse the price trend.

Trouble this time with that game plan is the people have really curbed there use of oil thus they can't hide oil inventories any longer and were seeing large excess inventory reports.

This is the same scheme they used last year to drive the price up too $147.

What happened to the greedy oil companies, evil speculators, and crooked nnalert?

Interesting, already starting to change your tune now that external_link is coming into office?

People not being able to make their mortgage payments wasn't the cause of our economic down turn, it was a by product of the high fuel prices and then the economic down turn. Sort of a spiral down effect starting with the fuel.
I think Cheney and Bush should be thrown in prison.

Deep thoughts. Just what we expect from a loser that still lives in his parents basement.

And of course, no defense whatsoever of your previous statement, or reply to the question put to you.

You show yourself as the blind partisian that you are. No clear and reasonable discussion, just uninspired diatribes with no real meaning or thought behind them.

Foolish of me to expect anything else from you. But quite funny also that you quote me almost word for word in your answer to the above post. Hilarious really. You're just a silly little fool, insignificant and transparent in your hatred of conservatism and traditional Amderican values.

But to answer your question, me and the monkey are just fine.

I was wondering because somebody said everytime they went by you were spanking the monkey in you moms back yard.

More 7th grade humor. Not even worth the effort of reading.

"Somebody" said?

And my mother doesn't have a back yard. Lives in an apartment building. Whoever "they" are must have been mistaken.

And I've never brought your mother into the discussion, only the fact that you live in your parents basement, which you have never disputed, which means it must be true. Which is even funnier considering I was joking when I said it, but the fact that it's true is just classic. You basement dwelling living-off-your-parents loser!

I couldn't even show my face in public if I was you.
