OT/ RFD on Direct TV

Direct TV has moved RFD to channel 345. It's still showing on 379,but 379 is gone from the guide entirely,so I don't think they'll be showing it on there much longer.

I don't care much for the horse channel, the only shows that I watch are Classic Tractor, AG Phd, Prarie Farm and a few others but most of the time it doesn't interest me much. I wouldn't care if they removed it and I wouldn't pay extra to have it.

I'm a big fan of Texas Country Reporter,Brazil Ag Report,Oklahome Horizon,Georgia Farm Monitor,Postcards From Nebraska,This Week in Louisiana Ag,The Cattle Show,Cattlemen to Cattlemen,Bluegrass and Backroads,Classic Tractors,Aumans Album,Farm Bureau Today,Americas Heartland and of course Hee Haw. If you're only tuning in during the horse show blocks, you're missing something.

Hee Haw makes Sunday night feel like 1969 again. -- I always wondered when some net work was going to put re-runs on, one time I read that Buck Owens did not allow it but who knows. My brothers and I laugh about how the only time our Dad ever ran the old Dodge pick-up over 35 miles an hour was if we were off somewhere on Sunday evening and we might be late to watch Hee-Haw.

To me its like any other channel. I love the programs on RFDTV but I dont spend most of my time there. I watch Fox New, CNN Halmark USA etc., I would not suscribe to any company not offering RFDTV. Each channel has something to offer as far as i am concerned. Henry

I like most of those shows but it seems like when I have time to watch all they have is horsy stuff. I guess that pays their bills.

I agree. You can now watch the AgPhD program online, so Classic Tractors and Prairie Farmer is about all you will lose. Occasionally the Successful Farming segments and less often the John Deere equipment discussions can be of some interest. Never watch the music, auctions, or horse programs.

Really like the cattle auctions, what a difference between high quality western and high plains cattle, and the multi-colored culls that come out of the south and southeast.

I also think Hew Haw is great - makes me feel like a kid again.

Man, those horse programs suck. Tons of them all marketed to WOMEN, all showing them how to do the same old things. What a bunch of crap.

i like it for the tractor show, postcards from nebraska is good too ive never stopped in nebraska but ive run thru it a bunch, also enjoy the trains and locomotives especially when they feature the steamers, inner city trolleys, not so much, lol, also never miss hee haw, ive forgot a lot of those shows thru the years from when i watched them when they were new, not much on the horse stuff if i need a horse i just go outside come to think of it sometimes im not much on these either, especially their feed bills
