I recieved this email & was wondering if these pictures were real. I checked out snopes.com but couldn't find anything about it. Wondered if any of you Wisconsin guys had heard about it?

These photos are of a "calico" buck that was shot in Wisconsin. I am told that Cabela's paid $13,000.00 for the head & hide. It is said to be more rare than an albino.

We breed them that way to puzzle you out of

under a full moon !

didn't hear about that one,but seen 2 albino deer, doe with 2 fawns 1 fawn was normal the other albino 1st time in 35 years of deer hunting.pretty neat

Don't know anything about that one specifically but the image is of a piebald deer. They are pretty rare but do exist. Do a google search to learn more.

May the good Lord bless you.

Approx fifteen years ago I seen a bunch of deer off the side of the HWY. It was a very untraveld road, so I spun the car around at 90 degrees to take a head count. I seen that exact thing...not maybe near that big. I was very puzzled at first till it head slapped me that it was indeed a deer. It was with probably a dozen white tail deer. It was approx two miles south of Pikes Peak look out South of McGregor Iowa. Probably three quarters of a mile from the Mississippi river. There had always been talk of a Albino in the area, but the hunters pretty much agreed to respect the land owners and let them harvest it if they so desired to do so.

Yea, I have had a few that agreed I never lied to anyone that any person had witnessed, but you could tell some doubted me a little bit.

Please check it out as being for real in this case, it sure looks pretty big.

Thanks Ryan,
I googled piebald deer and came up with numerous images....I thinking that Cabela's might have over paid for that 'head & hide'.

"And Now We Know...The Rest of the Story!"
Thanks to Nontypical for getting the real story. I'm going to email that web link to the guy who sent me the pictures.
You guys on here are incredible for gathering information!

We have a 2 does and a buck like that here in my neck of the woods. Thought my paint stallion had been busy the first time I saw them.
