taper lock flywheel

Checking into buying a JD 70 the guy said it needs a taper lock flywheel cant get the one on there to stay tight, are taper locks a quick fix or permanent.

Have three tractors with them on em and they are a good fix

I priced 1 the end of Sept. About $800 plus freight. You put your old ring gear on. I need one also, just not ready to spend that much on the old girl yet. Chris

I think Allen machine works in Tenn or Ken just google taper lock flywheels.One piece of adviuce is get one of his new ones not a n old jd that has been converted
