Little Old Gehl Skidloaders

I am intrigued by skidloaders and would find a little one to be quite handy around here. I happened to see a couple little old Gehl "mechanic specials" for sale. While I won't be buying right how, I'd like to know a little more about these two models: #3825 and #3610. Engine type and size, year of manufacture, preference of one over the other, etc.

I'd appreciate any comments/advice you may have.

Thank you,
Glenn F.

I've had a 4625SX for ten years- excellent machine. Very few repairs. 46 is the engine hp- a Kubota. 3825 would be a smaller machine, likely 38 hp. Don't know about the 10 series, likely older. Mine is a '95 model. Gehl is out of mfg farm equipment, but still builds the skidloaders. Gehl has their own quiktach system on those machines, later ones have universal mount, but you can buy/build adapter plates. Also, SX is an option- has extra hyd, but later machines have high flow for running snowblowers, etc. Handiest machine on the farm, put tracks on mine last year. When I retire, the loader tractor goes and the skiddie stays.
