About the biggest thing I wanted was a side box for my roll around tool box. I got it, but it's on back order. I also got a few books and a small shop vac.

You wouldn't have known the economy was poor buy what we had around the tree, but then the wife and I buy over the course of a few months so it's not such a big punch to the purse/wallet.

well didnt realy want any thing for christmass but got some weanchs and a flash light some screw drivers. but dad hes 78 years old and monm got him a 1940 john deere a hand start and its in good shape mom say s its for the both of them lol

My mother in law gave my wife, two children and I $300 cash in a card. We plan on using it for new tires on our van.

I received most of what I had on my list but it was items I needed for my truck. This way we didn't buy any thing special then have to get what we need ont top of what we already spent.

It was easier on the wallet.

Well Old - we don't celebrate Christmas but, that book sounds real interesting and my birthday is in January.......

I got a new day on this planet to enjoy all that was given me. My family ,with good health. These was all I ask for.

With these things I had the opportunity to celebrate Christs Birthday.

The people that don't believe He could have been born on this day, because of the weather, and the "shepherds were out in the field" don't
know much of their geography, as it is in line with our southern states in the grid.

{ I have a friend that is Jehovah Witness and we already went through this so now we talk of other things when he visits.]

If it is known how old he was, when crucified. Why don't they know when He was born. And why is the teachings referring to BC and AD

Materially,
I received a pocket watch with an eagle on it and a new leather belt and socks.

A new hat in the mail on Christmas eve from Mother Deere.
A gun vice/shooting rest.
Trouble light with 20ft cord.
Chocolate.
And something I've never seen before. A deer field dressing assist tool called "butt out". Think I'll purchase a second one and send it to the Physician that nearly killed me last year.

i got a sunviser with lights for the cab on my truck .but the best thing was 2 books one is on restoring farmall tractors step by step and the other one is operating farmall tractors and equipment from the 50s just loaded with pictures they sure are great.

A military style leather flight jacket, a Marine Corps Staff NCO sword, a Marine Corps mantle clock with a bronze miniature of the flag raising on Iwo Jima on top, a DVD of "Waterhole #3" with James Coburn, and a DVD of "Support Your Local Sheriff" with James Garner.

It doesn't get much better than this.

I got 4 cans of red paint for my F-20, a camera, a coat, shirt, 12 pk Mountain Dew super nova, computer game, a check, and a water pipe for my JD A.

I got a dvd I asked for and the proclamation that once again I "ruined Christmas". Everyone got exactly what they wanted, not tons of stuff but plenty. But dear ole dad questioned the age appropriateness of a gift for one of the kids and "ruined everything". So I'm an @ss as usual and evidently just a money machine. Needless to say I'm not too merry.

I got an external HDD with 500 Gig of storage space. unreal for 75$. And a nice folding knife from my son. Life is good. Jim

Our biggest gift was our family. My son, his wife and two girls, my late daughter's husband, new wife and four girls and new boy, plus my dad and step mom. Being with them and watching them open gifts is all I need. Jim

I got a house coat, a jig saw and a pocket watch that I can read the numbers on. Was a tight Christmas for the wife and I. But at least we had one and looking forward to a better year. *S

Got to enjoy the day with my family eating country ham, dressing, black eyed peas and delicious deserts. My son is home for a week and we get to spend time in the shop. he got me exactly what I wanted 2 large garbage cans for the shop. Girlfriend gave me a GPS unit. i hope all had a very Merry Christmas.

I got exactly what I wanted. A new pair of slippers. ( I gots have em) a new pair of Jammie pants. And a Civil War book.
And my Wife cooked a great ham dinner.
What more does a man need?

life is good.

I got more than planned. Cousin sent Peanut Brittle she made, got Hickory Farms package from sisters. Cooked and went over for dinner. All of us "displaced family" or "AF Family" known as my flight had Christmas Dinner together. Got to Osan last month and it's been busy, didn't get anything for wife. Sent her flowers, Christmas Card and AAFES Gift Card. She said "we don't need to buy for each other for Christmas, we've spent enough money this year" and I agree. We paid off the house last August and my pickup last September. With economy as it is; having these bills paid off are blessings in itself. She (as always) takes care of presents for the girls, and I'll buy them something to send from Korea...plus get them something for birthdays. They both live in Albuquerque and have their own ideas.

Wishing Everyone A Merry Christmas, And A Happy, Healthy, Prosperous New Year.

Jim

Old I like those old farm and shop manuals. Got a lot of simple and inexpensive ideas in them.

I am a lucky man, had my daughter here for christmas morning, We went to see my sis and my god son, had lunch with him his wife and baby boy (spittin image of him) did some gifts then went to see another very good friend swapped some more gifts and had a ham dinner, Came home and did a whole lot of northing. It was a good day.

My main gifts were a tool box for my truck, a new leatherman, a carhart jacket, leather jacket, chest waders, pocket knife, and grandma gave me my grandpas watch. I think i did better than usual this year. Merry Christmas

How about what you gave? Starting in mid Nov. we began raising food for the needy, toys were donated to several charities for the kids, our time we donated to the helping all of this happen. Spent yesterday with several families who had been burned out of their homes, and living in some pretty poor conditions right now.

Got a new recliner. Some Corner Gas DVDs,love that show but WGN moved it to 1:30 am and I don't have TiVo so I can't watch it. Can now. Most surprising was something I got for myself by mistake. I ordered a book from Amazon for my daughter, checked the box wrong and bought 2 copies. Well, the wife had to work yesterday,it was quiet around here. I sat down and read the whole thing. Excellent book. It's called "The Wednesday Letters". Heard Glenn Beck interview the author before I quit listening to him. Never read a book so quick in my life. Couldn't put it down. Told the wife when she got home. She read til way late last night, then got up and started right in with it before sunrise.

I got what i really wanted...A DAY OFF! My littlest ones ( 2 and 5) actually slept late (wore out from night before) and my biggest ones fed the animals so I slept til about 9...what a treat!
Son and Mom-in-law cae over and we sat around and watched the kids open gifts, drank coffe and ate home made fudge til I thought I would 'splode! Then- a great ham/ fresh green bean/tater dinner...no travellin', stayed at home! THE BEST!
