Merry Christmas and where to find tractor weights

Merry Christmas to all.
I wont be saying Happy Kwansa or Hanakah either.
Does anyone know where I can buy suitcase weights for the front of my tractor? I need to keep the front end down better to help with steering and more weight helps with snow plowing.

What make/model is it? Lawn & garden tractor, or full size? We've got a pair of JD suitcase weights laying around. Would be willing to sell, but they're buried in the snow on a hay wagon right now.

I have a deere 2305 utility tractor, compact utility. I live in Michigan near Flint, a 5 hour drive from Wisconsin.

Those small 40 pound weights should be found at any Deere dealer. Otherwise I see them all the time selling on ebay and craigslist for about 40 bucks. Seemed to me when I was working at Deere they brought about 50 bucks.

Have you tried Worthington in St Johns? They're right up on the north end of town where old 27 and the new expressway come together.

No, I havent gone there, that is over an hour away from me. But I may call them if I cant find the weights I want. I may just buy a piece of steel and bolt it on, after I paint it green or yellow.

I make or buy rock boxes for all my tractors and fill them with rocks. I prefer front weights for show tractors, but the rock box and rocks is a more economical way to go.
