4020 trouble

I shut my 71 4020 D at the fuel barrel on saturday and it hasnt started since. I investigated today and it would seem the electic shut off is not working. It clicks but I cant get any fuel out of the pump. Plenty of fuel to the pump but nothing coming out. Anybody ever fool with one of these? Wouldnt mind getting it to run without having it tore apart over the holidays. Thanks

Which injection pump. The little CB model or the big one ?

A '71 should have the larger pump. I have seen the wire connection on the pump pigtail get bad before, maybe try cleaning that up Bill, and or verify that you have voltage at the pump with the key on. Good luck, I hope it is something simple like that.

A solid click ususally means the solinoid is working ok, however, the part it controls is spring loaded to open after sol. arm releases it, I believe---with switch on & throttle open, try lightly tapping pump.

PS--forgot to add--could it be iced up? use heat {hair dryer} if elec. close
