PTO Driveline series

Looking for a pto driveline for a generator. Catalogs list them by "series". What is the criteria for these "series"? Thanks in advance.

It"s a rating of the horsepower the shaft or joint is designed to transmit. ASAE refers by categories to the same information. It also varies by the expected rpm. ie: ASAE category 3 is rated for 38 hp @540 rpm and 60 hp @ 1000 rpm. Should be a chart somewhere in the catalog. Precision calls this size a 1300 series.

Thanks Bob. I've been looking there but haven't found anything. I'll visit Tractor Supply and see what they can tell me. By the way, I'm in Reynolds County Missouri. Are we close?
