I have spotted a couple of old farmalls which I believe to be regulars. They are very rusty and all of the information I can find is the serial no.FA58552 which has been stamped on the frame. Does anyone know from these serial no."s what this tractor is?

I'm not an expert on those, but I think a serial number beginning with FA indicates an F20.

A number starting with T would indicate a Regular.

If the number starts with TA, you've found a rare one.

Arlen's right. The Regular has open steering gears in front of the radiator and the F20 has enclosed gears. Very easy to spot. Jim

Thanks for your help. One more question what year model would this be? I do not know what these numbers mean.

The Farmall Regular and Fairway Tractors had prefix letters of "QC" & "T"

The F-30 had prefix letters of "FB"

The F-20 had prefix letter of "FA" & "TA"
"FA" letters went up to #6381 then the letters "TA" followed afterward.
