Used to move snow with a 706 gas. Cab but no heat. Had side curtains on which blew engine heat back. Wasn't bad in there. Koyker loader with 8' bucket. Weights and tire chains. Thought I had the ultimate machine and it worked good. Flash forward to this fall. I bought a cx100 CaseIH fwa. Cab heat and air. Westendorf loader and I built the bucket out to 8and1/2 ft. Shuttle shift, diesel engine, foot throttle. Wow. It's just amazing how much snow I can move compared to old unit. I don't know why I'm telling you this. Maybe because for once I did something right. Maybe because I'm trying to justify having spent to much money for something I really did not need. Sure helps make snow a whole lot more tollerable. Be safe. The Flying Belgian.

thought i had a good machine dc case with a 9 foot grader blade on the front with 5 inch well casing running to the drawbar bracket i extended the blade so its almost 3 feet high i plow in 3 rd gear makes quick work dont need a cab not out there long enogh to get cold

I haven't had so much fun in the snow as I had Friday since I was 5 years old. I usually plow with my 1020 Deere and loader. Spend a lot of time pushing myself out by tilting the bucket. There was a LOT of snow to move. I thought about putting the 8 foot box scraper on the 2-135 White so I could sit in the cab,but the 1850 Oliver was just sitting there in the shed doing nothing. I hadn't had the heat houser on it in 3 years and wasn't even sure I could find all the brackets. Found'em. Put it on,put the scraper on. WOW. That beauty was unstoppable backing up. I ran out of snow before I ran out of fun. Had it out again today cleaning up what drifted in. What a rush.
