did you see the reporter throw 2 shoes at george W he duct and they both missed him, later he said it was funny.
 
Gee,I wonder why Tribune is bankrupt,NPR is laying off 350 employees,The New York Times is broke.......
 
I think the subjects out in the hinterlands have finally caught on to the fact that the new media had not been reporting the news, but making up the news, or embellishing it, or throwing a spin on it.

I like a good editorial page, or opinion page, but reporters should report, and they quit doing that.

Joseph Goebbels would be proud.

Kinda makes you wonder about the Secret Service, doesn't it? I can see one shoe, but I would have expected the Secret Service to have that guy on the ground well before he could a chance to throw the second one. I suspect some agents are gonna have a real uncomfortable flight home.
 
So what's that got to do with an IRAQI reporter, IN IRAQ, throwing shoes at Bush?

And they talk about how unaware the YOUNGER generation is...
 
Naaawwww...hell, Fred, 45 years ago they let some nut shoot at the President three times before anyone reacted, and nobody in the SS lost their job.

They'll probably give the agents that beat the hell out of the reporter afterwards some sort of medal for risking their lives, though.
 
This Iraqi has George to thank for the FREEDOM to be able to throw those shoes in protest and NOT be executed on the spot !

How"d you like to be in the throwers "shoes". Probably not a good to place to be, they'll chop off his feet for sure.
