OT/ Laytex paint shelf life?

I have some that has been sitting for years, never frozen. What is the max shelf life, I was going to mix it all together and use it as a primer for drywall. I will top coat it with a good grade paint.

Is there any problem using exterior laytex inside?

I also have a paint shaker so I should be able to mix it well.

I'm not sure about latex I have some around here that years old and not much good for anything. Get this to put them in the dump I have to pour the paint out then let the cans dry. So what do I do with the paint???
I painted my little Sonett with some 20 year old paint after another 20 years its starting to peel off. One can exploded when I opened it I guess that one was bad.
I would use primer to put under the paint because its made different.
