This one came off of a ranch S. of Montrose, CO in the last month - A 1917(?) Emerson-Brantingham. It was running in the past 10 years but is stuck right now.

It will up for sale at auction the first week of February, 2009.

Imagine how proud that farmer was when it made it onto his property back in the day!Any idea how much that tractor is worth? anyone?

Depending on which Big 4 model that is it would be worth between $40,000 and $150,000 according to Dean & Swenson's book

(quoted from post at 10:04:05 12/13/08) Will it sell at Jim Flowers winter consignment sale? It would have more exposure at Western Imp's Sale at Grand Jct.

Yes, it will be up at Jim's first but it could have a reserve on it and so then would probably be at the W. Imp. sale as Jim is the auctioneer for them, too.

(quoted from post at 18:02:25 12/13/08) Whew, I'd say that miniature Dodge Ram is an even rarer sight. ; )

Yeah, that's what I thought, too  Here's another angle but the EB is still [b:cdc5cae649]HUGE![/b:cdc5cae649]

When I talked to Jim about it he said that back when it was bought (1918?) it was brought on the train to Grand Junction and that the new owner ROADED it to the ranch south of Montrose ..... it took 48 hours driving time to make the trip! I'm going to find out who the owner is and see if I can get some more info ..... to me, this is like finding a warehouse full of new, crated Model T Fords or a brand new, un-fired Hawken .... I'm thinking that it was shedded all this time .... pretty amazing!

I'll do it .... [b:eb101c9a8d]IF[/b:eb101c9a8d] my CRS stays at bay .....
