Value of used grain bins?

Was wondering if anyone has an idea what a couple 13000 bu. used bins are worth. Both in nice shape with floors and 5 HP fans.
I want to move these to my farm but have no idea what to offer for them.

You take down or already down? $2,000 a piece? Those fans new are 800 bucks I think.

i bought 3 bins about 5 yrs ago, i 14k storage, 1-14k dryer and an 8k dryer. both dryers had stirrators in them. paid 5500 for all three, had to take em down. bins has sweeps too. fs bins, the 8k was a pretty old bin.

A bin alone used to go for about 10 cents a bu. Current ecconomics have bounced around so much I donno....

Add in the used value of electrical stuff, augers, driers, etc.

A lot of labor & new concrete you have to add, so a used bin should be pretty cheap to come out...

Don"t know about used ones but I got quotes on a new 12,000 bushel this fall, and they ranged from 28000 to 32000 with a floor and a 10 horse centrifugal fan. That didn"t include concrete I already have that. I suppose the steel they have in inventory is still the high priced stuff. I put tubes in 2 Harvestores and moved an old bin I had and picked some ear corn to get by rather than pay the much. Lee

Most of the time, used bins end up costing more than new bins. you have to really watch your costs with used bins.
