Attn: Relaurain - tire screws.

This is quite common on ice bikes. There is actually a special type of sheet metal screw made, called Kold Kutter. And they are SHARP. The heads are beveled down to form a wide vee. I think they are hardened too. About 20 years ago I mounted many of tires already studded on rims at a cycle shop I worked for. Not real fun.

Two problems I see.
1. Will they eventually work out and end up in your car tire the following summer? (Occasionally they come out of the tires on the bikes, crazy but some guys wouldn't wear goggles)

2. What will they do to your concrete approach pad. 10K lbs is a lot of weight on a couple of screws. Can't see these being any worse on concrete than tire chains.

Just my thoughts.
