christmas tools

I know I have mentioned this before but, buy your kids, grandkids, any young kids tools for Christmas. I started my three young ones with a toolbox and add a tool every christmas and birthday. Teach them to use and respect them. It is a gift that will stay with them forever and they may leave your tools alone. Also, please take time to express the "real" meaning of christmas. God Bless!

We have a collection of old tools that belonged to James' dad and grandfather. We even have his grandaddy's old chain saw which is huge and weighs a ton. I don't know how anyone ever used it.

Some of those old tools are way better than anything you can buy today, plus the value that they belonged to family.

And yes, we fully understand why we celebrate this time of year and always will celebrate this time of year for the true meaning. Our desserts for Christmas dinner say "happy birthday Jesus, Mom" and this year will add "Anna", James' cousin. My mom and Anna both have Dec. 25 as their birthdays.
