I had a 574 gas and I pulled a John Deere 4-14 with it. I believe the 574 diesel has a little less HP than the 574 gas. Some one can correct me if I'm wrong but I remember looking it up one time. Diesels don't always mean more HP. Hard to believe but some of the Nebraska tractor test prove that.

It'll depend on your soil type also.

it should have more torque so it would pull better than the gas by my way of thinking but I have been wrong before though I swore it was going to be the last time lol

It will pull 2 bottoms super easy. With 3, you might run into traction problems, espeially if you got smaller diameter rear tires on that 574.

I have a set of 3-14s I pull with mine without a problem . Did pull a set of 4-14 pull type in some sandy ground one time . The 574 has the power but you may lack a little in traction , load the tires and get some weights .
