IH/Cub Cadet 682 mower

I picked up an IH/Cub Cadet mower, with 50" deck, for free tonight. It has a hydrostatic drive and supposedly a rebuilt motor (although it doesn't run). Sheet metal is good condition and it looks like it has been taken care of.

If I can get it running, what do you think the value of it might be? Long term I don't really intend to keep it, but I needed a bigger mower and the price was right. Thanks for the help. (Sorry no pictures right now)

If you were closer to me I'd offer to buy it. If its in good shape I'd say $700 would be a fair price if you got it running good but the going price varies from place to place.
