tracor speeds

Yea,you'll go around 10 mph. maybe a little faster if you do not have wheel weights and liquid in the tires. You would be surprised on how much tha bogs the tractors down, but sometime you need them if your really working it.

I have both loaded rear tires and rear wheelweights on my "46 2N Ford. Doesn"t seem to bog it down a bit. Will run 20 mph in third, sherman high, on level, and will pull a rather steep grade in the same gear.

My A goes about 12 mph, but I think the governor is tweaked a bit higher than stock and the rear tires are larger than stock as well.

Tie a wire or string to the throttle at the carb. she'll do about 35-40 if grandpa catches you you didn't hear it here!

Dead right there, Brian!!

Depends on which make of 'tracor'.

Spade lugs make a difference too. As well as rubber tyre sizes.

Since the question was ....how fast will a super a go in high gear.....your comments lead me to think you know of other makes of tractors using the super a designation...help me out.

There was ONLY ONE COMPANY that made a Super A tractor and that was IHC/McCormick and was never made with steel wheels so the question was simple.
