I switched from 12V positive ground to alternator 12V negative ground and now my tractor won"t start and I don't have any spark. Any ideas?

Yes I switched them and that didn't work. It has an electronic ignition on it instead of points. It was set up for positive ground.

You let the smoke out of the electronic ignition by switching from positive to negative ground. You will need a new ignition unit made for negative ground.

If your tractor was equipped with voltage regulator and you done way with that i'll bet you that it had a post on regulator MARK L.

That would be the load terminal for ignition switch etc.

If that wire is not connected to a live terminal some where you will not have anything .

off top of my head don't remember the color of that wire.
